 The Artist

Josh Young is an artist and designer based in Washington, D.C. A graduate of Italy’s renowned Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Josh spent six years in Milan, an experience that heavily influenced his artistic style and point of view. After returning to the U.S., he began working as a designer in the textile industry in New York City’s Flatiron District.

Inspired by the marriage of Old World elements and bold, modern-day techniques, he has been experimenting with mixed media in his fine art since 2009.  

Josh and his work have appeared in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Vogue Italia, GQ Italia, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, O, The Oprah Magazine, and House & Garden.

​He has worked creatively with brands such as Williams Sonoma Home, Framebridge, Jo Malone London, Visual Comfort, and Farrow & Ball. His first book, ARTFUL HOME, was published by Rizzoli in September 2024. His debut, multi-year product collaborations with Williams Sonoma Home and Framebridge launched in 2024. He is currently working on his second book, ARTFUL SEASONS, which is scheduled for publication by Rizzoli in fall 2027.
