A beautiful late-19th-century English covered tureen by Bridgwood & Son, crafted in the firm’s classic white Porcelaine Opaque earthenware. The piece has an elegant oval body raised on a molded pedestal foot, sculptural side handles, and a domed fitted lid finished with an architectural openwork handle.
*Fine crazing, discoloration, glaze variation, and light wear are consistent with age and use and contribute to the character of this antique piece. A small chip in the bowl’s lip is noted in photos and not visible when lid is on.
